Listen to the song "The Honest Truth"
Overall, Typhoon’s A New Kind of House feels bright and optimistic in comparison to its moody predecessor, Hunger and Thirst. That being said, a noticeable darkness still lurks in beneath the record’s cheery surface. The blend of emotions created by Typhoon’s mammoth 12-piece lineup is relatable for listeners who have experienced hardship or loss--while we can move past rough patches in our lives, memories of these events often stick with us for years to come. Brimming with rich, dynamic vocal and instrumental harmonies, Typhoon fans will not be let down by A New Kind of House.
